We first met in the summer of 2010 during driver’s education class. Neil, at 15, Raylynn, 14. Though we parted ways after the class, our brief encounter left a lasting impression.
A year later, at a school retreat in early 2011, they reunited. As we participated in group activities and shared stories, our friendship rekindled and soon blossomed. We attended Holy Cross Junior Prom together on  May 6, 2011. This is the date we have decided was the start of our official relationship. 
Over the next 13.7 years, we grew together through college, career changes, and personal challenges.
On June 24 of 2024, Raylynn now 28, graduated from the University College Dublin as a Veterinarian. Shortly after the graduation in the gorgeous courtyard of the Intercontinental Hotel in Dublin, the long awaited proposal took place.

Careers

Raylynn now works at Metairie Small Animal Hospital as one of their best Veterinarian Doctors. She looks forward to growing in her career, and assisting as many animals in need as possible. 
After graduating college in 2017 with a degree in IT, Neil as solidified his career in the Events industry, working at Encore (formally PSAV), as the Areas Internet Services Manager for many hotels and event spaces. He also owns a DJ and Event Production company, Music and Lights Entertainment, which also keeps him heavily involved with events across New Orleans and Southern Louisiana
